OK, it’s an odd name, but it sums up the friendly, human and humorous nature of our staff. APOJ was founded in 2000 with a HQ based in Reading, by two Scottish guys, hence the name APOJ (A Pair Of Jocks).

We were originally created to service the needs of small to medium sized charities in the London and Thames valley area. We have been very successful to date, growing rapidly by word of mouth due to our exceptional personal service.

After a year, we realised how many calls we were getting from commercial companies. So, being the nice guys we are, we decided to help them too. We now have over 20 commercial clients on our books.

Our consultants and technicians are highly experienced and cover the entire range of IT skills, including all Microsoft Windows, PCs, Macs, servers and networks.

John Murdoch, directorJohn Murdoch, Director

John founded APOJ Ltd after 8 years of managing a 100 PC network for a large charitable organisation. His range of knowledge and experience is vast. He also appreciates the importance of information flow within organisations, the challenges of managing ICT infrastructures and the needs of managers, fundraisers and donors. John is also hands-on in ensuring our clients receive quick and expert ICT support services and has developed a range of bespoke database products and services.

Kevin Sayer, managerKevin Sayer, Manager

Kevin joined APOJ in April 2002 having gained 10 years of experience in the IT industry. He has developed skills in all aspects of the IT spectrum, but in particular he specialises in the Microsoft arena and has an excellent record in troubleshooting. Kevin is a hands-on manager at APOJ and has overseen many projects, delivering to tight deadlines and cost restraints for clients and providing workable solutions to IT problems. But under his very cool, calm and collected demeanour lies a man who loves to live life in the fast lane… at weekends Kevin is raring to go when he enjoys being a successful racing car driver!
